Jávea has long been considered one of the jewels of the Costa Blanca, The bright blue Mediterranean Sea boarders Javea. An oasis of natural beauty set along some 25 kilometers of stunning coastline and nestling below the awesome hulk of the mountain of El Montgó, more than 750m high and protecting the town from the fierce northerly winds of winter. It is situated in a wide bay between the rocky headlands of the Cap de San Antonio and Cap de La Nao, Javea has been voted environmentally near perfect by the World Health Organization and boasts 320 days of sunshine a year. Its micro-climate could be considered near-perfect and thus one of the healthiest in the world, perfect for a holiday whatever the time of year. And boasting a history stretching back many thousands of years, Jávea offers something for everyone.
Javea has a huge expat population, mainly English but also a substantial Swiss, French, Dutch and others. Javea is a very cosmopolitan and a great place to live or invest in.
It is very much a place where you can feel you are in Spain but where you can feel reminders of home. There are many English and other European supermarkets, lots of clubs and societies and people who speak your language.
New building developments in Javea are subject to height restrictions which mean there are no high-rise buildings unlike in other Costa Blanca towns.
Javea represents superb value for money matched by a superb quality of life for the resident or holidaymaker
